Hair Clips and A Confession

"Hey Alice!" Amelia yelled over at her British sister who seemed to be taking an interest of staring at you. Startled, Alice almost fell down from her seat. "What the....what gives Amelia?! Can't you be silent for the meantime? I'm concentrating here, just so you know..." she huffs and crosses her arms across her chest. "You're checking out (name) aren't you?"

"W-What? No I am seriously not doing that!" Alice blushes a bright pink and yelled at her younger sister. Amelia just laughs and pokes her cheek. "Yeah, like I'd believe that. You're seriously blushing" and her smirk was soon replaced with a loud yelp when the British girl grabbed her digit and bit it. "D-dude...ouch that hurts! I-I was just horsing around with you for a bit, it was that harmless! And besides, I was about to tell you a surefire way to win her heart but sorry, I guess I'll just have to postpone it..." the American girl fake-cried and was about to walk away when she was held back by the latter with a tight grasp on her wrist. She spun around to see the desperate twinkle in the emerald irises that definitely seemed interested in her opinion.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry Amelia! Can you please tell me about your plan?" Amelia smirked deviously since she knew Alice would definitely succumb to her plan. "Sure thing then, since you were begging for it"

~ Time Skip to after class ~

Your friend Amelia asked you that there's someone who wants to talk with you about something important so you waited at the local park just a 5 minute walk from your school. You sat on one of the park benches and decided to take in the peaceful scenery around you. 

Hmm, I wonder who is this person who has something important to tell me...? You thought as you watched the birds fly back to their nests. You shivered slightly as a cold breeze swept by. It was August yet it was getting really cold already. I should have brought a scarf...

"Are you cold, love?" a British accentuated female voice suddenly spoke, breaking you out of your reverie. Your head immediately snapped to the right, and saw that it was Alice, a friend from your school. "Ah, hey there Alice...and yes, I am a bit cold" you smiled a bit as you continued rubbing your arms. 

"Here, this would help you better..." Alice then draped a jacket over you. "Ah, thank you..." you giggled a bit as you took in the feminine smell of her warm jacket. Unseen to you, the British girl's cheeks were already as red as tomatoes and her heart was beating so loudly in her ears that she prayed that you wouldn't hear it. It was already making her too weak just being around your fragile presence.

"Anyways, Alice, what brings you around here at the park? Are you going to meet someone?" you asked, and at the same time looking up at her with your sparkling (e/c) irises that made her yelp in surprise. "Ah- uh, Alice? Did I do something wrong?" you said, looking aghast. The blonde haired bespectacled female just shook her head and said, "No, you did not do anything wrong... except for making me fall head over heels in love with you " Since you didn't get what she said in the last sentence, you cocked your head to the right and asked, "Can you please repeat what you just said, Alice?"

"Uh--I just said nothing okay? A-a-anyways, here! It's for you!" Alice then shoves a small, cute package to your hands tied with a dainty (f/c) ribbon. "O-oh, thank you...I guess..." you smiled and proceeded to open her little present. Your eyes suddenly widened in surprise as you saw that it contains a variety of hair clips ranging from bunnies to musical notes. "Wow, all of these are so pretty Alice...thank you very much. I loved them all. Now I have more to wear. Anyways, are you the person that Amelia told me about?"

"Y-Yes, I am the person you are indeed waiting for" as soon as you heard her reply, you clapped your hands happily. "I see. So, what's this important thing that you want to tell me?" you said as you put on a new hair clip from the bunch. "You know, it's much better if I just show you what I want to say..." "Huh?"

Alice then brings her lips to yours in a gentle and brief kiss. A blush instantly adorns your face as soon as you realized the message that she wants to relay to you. After she breaks apart, you notice the latter was blushing heavily as well.

"I love you... (name)..."

Struck speechless, you just smiled and hugged the British female.

"I think...I love you too, Alice"
